All India University Women's football

Hii, this blog is all about my this year journey in football and my achievements
One day Sir informed me that there's going to be Goa University Selection trials and I should try for it. After hearing this I was very much excited but some where in my mind there was fear that it might affect my academics because my life at the new college had become very much hactic. So I decided not to go for the selection.
On the day of selection sir forced me and send me for the selection. After having 3 selection trials the team was selected and it was unbelievable moment for me that I was selected as part of Goa University. The team was to be representing fir All Indian Woman Football tournament. After practicing for so many days the dates of going for West Zone matches arrived. West zone is basically a small tournament which was held at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh this year. Before playing for All Indian level matches we need to qualify in this zone. And you all believe it or not but we were the winner of West Zone for the fourth consecutive year. It was wonderful experience
After coming from West Zone, we practised even more harder and were set to go for All Indian level matches which were held at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. During the opening ceremony we came to know that the qualifying teams will again represent for Khelo Indian University Games 2020. So now we had two goals in our mind. One, was to qualify and second, was to win All Indian championship. We tried our best but couldn't make it for the first place. We won the third place. It was a wonderful journey.
From all this I learned that more opportunities, more achievements will continue coming one's way. The only thing need fir this is hardwork and focus.
Someone rightly said it:-
"There is no substitute for hardwork"

Thank You!!

So now the question was which Higher Secondary to choose with my first priority to continuing my football journey. So I admitted my self in St. Xavier Higher Secondary school which is one of the best Higher Secondaries in Goa with Excellency in almost all fields be it in Acadamics or sports. There in 11th std I got the second chance of participating in nationals and that to Subroto Cup. Once again we were in Delhi. It is year of practice and hardwork that makes you perfect in a particular field and so it was with me. After playing for so many years as left defence. It had made me excel at that position but during my second national my position was changed as a result I was not able to perform well but still I tried my best. We lost our first  match was against Tamil Nadu. During second match I was shifted back at my original ...

Seeing my friends practicing inspired me to join football. later I came to know that Director of Sports and Youth Affairs (DSYA) every year organises tournament and this is how my football journey started. During this time, GFDC a new council for the development of football which is Goa's state sport was started all over Goa with the aim of sharpening the skills of young footballers. I was part of Moira GFDC. GFDC along with training used to also provide football kit like shoes, jersey, jacket, shock, etc. So those children who were unable to afford it also started joining.
